We reserved at Dom Augusto, a group of 16, and now we are sure we choose the right place in Braga for typical Portuguese recipes. We do reccomend this cosy restaurant. Starters are also a must. We had Bacalao served with onions and potatoes (in the picture) and Vitela al Horno, juicy beef with potatoes cooked in the oven. Special remark for the friendly service we received from the whole staff. Try the white wine from the house !!! About 25 € each, dessert and coffee included. OBRIGADOS.

Authentic portuguese food with extra flavour. We had 3 courses & daily specials & wine & it was so delicious with big servings. Service was very attentive. Atmosphere was quaint & authentic. Many locals for lunch & very affordable.

Nice place to enjoy Portuguese food and Fado with good prices. I recommend Pataniscas de bacalhau and Bacalhau à Braga. Also the white home wine is delicious. The place is adorable and the staff very friendly.

What a gem of a restaurant. From the moment we walked in we were enchanted by this cozy restaurant with a charming antique decor. We had the Cod á Braga and Roasted pork with chestnuts. Truly delicious and exceptional food. The serving size was very generous and the quality of everything was impeccable. For dessert we had chocolate mouse and biscuit cake which were both out of this world. The staff were amazing, friendly and made our experience unforgettable. Special thanks to Paulo for the great suggestions for things to see and do while we were in Braga.
